I had been wanting to make a rustic, worn looking, leather laptop bag with a plaid lining for myself for a while. This is a beautifully soft to the touch leather that shows every little scuff and scratch in a gorgeous way that really captured the rugged look I was going for.
Based on “The Indy” messenger pattern by Petrichor Leather Co. I made a few modifications, reinforcing the handle, adding hidden tuck locks for the cover closure straps for quicker access while keeping the buckle look. And of course, the green plaid lining.
I’ve carried it now for over a year and it still looks great.
